What is the story behind Art in the "Little Dolls" hard rock video?

To whom ever may be reading this I am hope all is well with you in these strange and stressful times of the Covid19 era in NYC and around the World. This painting’s titled "Baby Spirit"  is 24in by 19in tempera on canvas I painted in the 1990s I am posting this painting and two others that are some of the works that will be making an appearance in the music video "Little Dolls" that I am in the midst of editing.  along with the other works and live performances mixed with current dramatic interludes tell a story open to interpretation but nonetheless has it’s own storyline built upon thru out the years.  Life brings us in our human and from there many questions and complexities arise.

This painting’s titled "Peace on Earth" it is 5feet by 5ft Acrylic on canvas painted in 1985 amid a series of psychedelic psychological works affected by a view of  world politics and the horror of it all on a personal level from the perspective of myself as younger person trying to function and enjoy life. Currently I am posting this painting with two others that are some of the works that will be making an appearance in the music video "Little Dolls" I am really getting into the whole process finding it inspirational and quite satisfying as I pull out past pieces of art to add to the project that fit the story like icing on a Birthday cake!

Acrylic on small canvas 1992 A long magical drive...Painted in Pensacola Florida the year I took a leave of absence from  NYC with a companion to get clean and sober.

“Harsh Judgement by a Mistaken Nun”. I painted this piece in the 1980’s when I lived on Washington Ave. in Clinton Hill Brooklyn. My inspiration came from a Nun that yelled at me in a very judgmental tone “Your dog is going to bite you someday” she said this because my beloved dog Scruffy had something in her mouth that she had picked off the street to eat and I was bent over with Scruffy’s mouth open removing whatever nasty thing she was hiding in her mouth and the Nun misunderstood what was happening thought I was torturing Scruffy since the dog was pulling to keep her little nasty street snack. Happy ending to the story Scruffy lived to be 17 years old and never bit me, Scruffy was a great dog and was the only dog I ever knew that liked to chew gum like a human!! Putting up a painting on Instagram weekly while sorting thru my catalogue is my goal. Sorry for the fuzzy photos they were shot in the 80’s in slide form.
